I love reading my stories to children and talking to them about writing. My presentations are geared to entertain, educate, and encourage children to read and write more.
Story Time Rhythm and Rhyme
I will read one of my stories and talk about being a writer and where I find inspiration. We’ll find the words that rhyme and enjoy an interactive sing-along.
- For grades K-2
- 30 minutes
- Single in-person session: $125 (virtual $100)
- Half day (3 sessions): $400 (virtual $250)

I will read one of my informational fiction stories, which includes back matter. I’ll talk about the lifecycle of that animal and lead an interactive sing-along.

Let’s Write Workshop
I will read one of my stories, share what inspires me to write it, and explain my writing process. We’ll do several activities that explore the parts that make up a story, then write a fun story together.
- For grades 3-5
- 50-60 minutes
- Single in-person session: $250 (virtual $200)
- Half day (2 sessions): $400 (virtual $300)
- Full day (4 sessions): $700 (virtual $550)
Please note travel expenses (airfare, lodging, mileage, meals) will be added for visits that are more than 60 miles from Moorhead, MN.
