I love reading my stories to children and talking to them about writing. My presentations are geared to entertain, educate, and encourage children to read and write more.
Story Time Rhythm and Rhyme
In this PowerPoint presentation, I talk about being a writer and where I find inspiration. I’ll read Goat’s Boat Won’t Float, and we’ll find the words that rhyme. I’ll close with an interactive sing-along.

Let’s Build a Story!
In this PowerPoint presentation, I talk about the basic elements of a story using a “5 Ws and How” framework. I’ll give examples of each by sharing snippets from various picture books, including my own. I’ll read my book Doll Trouble, then we’ll close by creating a story together.
